I have no lost of blogs I read because I read very few. Today, I am going to mention the 3 that I sometimes glance at. I read them because they are just plain weird, but I am concerned that some may take them seriously. I will be accused of 'trolling' but, who cares?
Visup, on the surface seems to be a history of strange events in America and the World. The writing is straight forward and competent and much documentation is provided. However, the documentation comes from other 'conspiracy' writers and if you check their works, they have almost no valid documentation. In other words, they put out largely unfounded conclusions and say that they are true because they make sense to them. They operate on the 'guilt by association ' idea. If A knew B and C knew B and B did something illegal, then A and B must also be in on it. It is easy to fall into that trap. I have done so a time or 2. Associations may warrant investigation, but they prove nothing. Take the NEXIVM cult. Some big-time public figures have given them money, lots ot it, but does that mean they knew what was going on. Who knows? I sure don't. This is a matter for the Justice Dept. to investigate, not bloggers or sensationalist pseudo-journalists.
 Another such blog is mind control murder missile madness. This is a much better written blog, but most of the material is, again, a blend of huilt by association innuendo and pyre specolation.. It is like a a bad tabloid piece written by HP Lovecraft.
The last blog I will mention is The Secret Sun. It's wtiter once wrote a mildly entertaining book about comic book heroes, comparing them to the ancient mythological 'gods'. This was hardly a new idea. Most kids I knew back in the early 60s figured that out, but the book was fun. Now, he blogs about symbolism in modern Culture. Good topic. Important, to a degree, but he has gone so far over the top. True, he has read a lot of old mythology, but he does not seem to grasp the fact that this stuf was never meant to be taken literally. Our ancestors knew poetry, better that we do, and were written symbolically, allegorically,to teach lessons and to try to figure our themselves and the World. Sometimes they were just told because they were great, tall tales and humans love stories.To take them literally is to fall into the same trap as the people on Ancient Aliens. Yes, strange things have always happened and always will, but that does not mean that we are being controlled by ETs, interdimensional beings or old gods. Do such beings exist? Maybe yes, mayve no, but, if you hear the lessons of both Jesus in the West and the Buddha in the East, they have no power over us unless we give it to them. Ignore them, and the go away.
These 3 blogs, if you can believe that stats they show are popular and get a lot of comment. Do not take them seriously. I almost wonder if they are simple disinformation, allowed to exisr just to keep the weak minded on edge, otherwise I am not sure why they have not been removed and the authors sued.
There is one investigatot into deep weirdness who at least provided good documentation/ I do not agree with Peter Levenda on much and I cannot think that he and I would be buddies, but at least he has gone to the trouble, a great deal of work, to dig up original source documentation for his work. Even if you disagree with his conclusions, he presents as much fact as possible and avoids the guilt by association trap. Plus, he's a darn good writer.
This is the first time I have mentioned other blogs by name and it will be the last. I can guarantee you of that. I only do this to point out the need to be a discriminating reader. Going down the path of wild conspiracy is not a real good idea. Yes, there are conspiracies, many, but they must be tracked down carefully. Do not let chasing the White Rabbit down his hole take you away from our real and very solvable problems.

America and the Powers That Be, What's Going to Happen

Let me be clear about something. We have all of these groups milling around, working in similar areas but, I do not consider this any kind of conspiracy. I am fairly sure that there are no meetings where heads of the participating groups sit around and write out scripts that they want to see followed. What happens then? Easy, they know each others interests and ways of operating. When they share common interests, they contact each other and work together. However, these groups have divergent interests and goals. Every one of them seeks to dominate the World and that is the saving grace. Power does not share and, eventually, they will turn on each other.

Another reason their schemes will not work is simple human nature. Throughout history, individuals have dreamed of running the show. They recruit followers and build huge, dominating structures, churches, corporations, military, land holdings, whatever they are most attracted to. Then they spread out, gaining more and more power. Sons, and sometimes daughters (not too often, these folks tend to be patriarchal), take over. Maybe they hold Daddy's dream but, at some point grandkids or great grandkids come along and decide,, 'why bother? Let's just enjoy the old man's money.' Decadence sets in and Kingdoms, Churches, Corporations etc. fall apart. Or maybe they continue, but they lose the drive to dominate. It may take generations and, from time to time, new power seekers try to revive the movement and, they always fail. Example: The Vatican. The Church has fallen and risen repeatedly, each time its is a bit weaker, but there is still some life in it.

So, the actions of those seeking World domination is periodic. Coming out of WW2, they made a big push and such atrocities as Operation Gladio, Project Phoenix, and MKUltra were perpetrated along with the out and out thefts of the various huge banks and the environmental havoc various industries have caused. Things seemed well planned but now, well, the whole thing seems chaotic. It seems that no one is in control. That make sense. The old guys who made the plans have died and evidently, they took some of the secrets of those plans to their graves. This is creating an overly bizarre situation but, that has to be. Eventually, we will sort the whole mess out and things will run well, for awhile. Then, someone will get big ideas again, and start the whole mess once more. That's just human nature. We need to enjoy the good times because they won't last but, we will have good spells.

One more thing. As the sons and grandsons of the PTB grow more decadent, they will move more and more in the real world. The founders of these powerful groups pushed elitism and kept Junior in exclusive schools and made them join exclusive clubs. As that fades and the kids see more and more of the common folk, guess what? They often find us likable and even a spoiled brat from a family of power hungry monsters has trouble hurting those he likes.

In short, yes the PTB are real but, there is no Grand Conspiracy, just a lot of madmen jockeying for power. They work together at times. They stab each other in the back at times. And, ultimately, they will fail, then some other idiots will try the same thing. Maybe, someday, the Human Race will grow out of this, but not yet. My advice? Keep an eye on them, be ready to duck when they get too overbearing, try to find ways around them. Fighting should always be the absolute last option pursued because they are powerful and there is no point in fighting battles you are not likely to win. Hang in, enjoy your life as much as you can and realize, ultimately, the PTB will not win.

America, San Bernadino and Conspiracy

I was going to begin a series of blogs on the fear that seems to be driving our Nation, but I need to say something about our latest nightmare, the San Bernadino shooting. I knew before I looked that by this morning, not 24 hours later, cries of conspiracy would be hitting the Internet. Sure enough, this morning, Alex Jones and others are crying 'false flag' and saying that this is a set up by the Government to  push gun control.                               

First, let's get the definition of conspiracy clear. If I sit with a friend and plan to get together for lunch, we, by definition, have 'conspired' to have lunch. The word does not imply any great evil. It just means to plan with someone. You can conspire to buy food for hungry people or to create a new drug to treat cancer. It is human nature to conspire, after all we are social creatures.

As far as all of the various conspiracies that have been explored by various 'fringe' writers, I have little doubt that most are true, in a way. People talk about all sorts of nonsense and seldom is any of that idiocy put into action. Some is, and here things get sticky.

Yes, there are people who are trying, and have tried for years, to take control of the World, and yes, they have implemented many plans, with varying degrees of success. Some of those plots have been carried out and they have been horrific. Government documents have been found that clearly, with no room for doubt, show that the Powers that Be, the World's power elite, pushed us into WW1and backed Hitler financially and continued doing business with the little madman even after the war started.  We know that Government officials have been involved in smuggling heroin and cocaine into the US and we know that they pursued many ways to gain control over the human mind during the CIA's despicable, nightmarish MKUltra program.

So, it is possible that last night's tragedy is part of a Government plot to cause panic and raise the fear level to a breaking point. When that point is reached, many will be glad to hand over their guns and several of their Civil Rights, That may be. It might work.

But, at this point, all is conjecture. We know almost nothing. There may be some who know what happened, but they're not talking. It is obvious that these were not just disgruntled employees gone postal. The plan was too perfect and too perfectly executed. Besides, how many folks keep a stash of rifles, handguns, full body armor and pipe bombs laying around the house. This was planned and planned well, but by who, we don't know. It is not out of the realm of possibility that this is but a small part of a much larger plan designed to take away more and more of our rights.

Or, not. This could be just an aberration, one of those weird things that happens. But, even if it is, the Powers will try to use the chaos and the resulting fear to their advantage.

The sane response is to say, 'we don't know,' and then wait as the facts emerge, if they ever do, We may never know just what happened. But, we can definitely pay attention to how this tragedy is manipulated by those in power, and resist their efforts to tighten the noose they already have around the Bill of Rights. In short, just stay cool, watch what happens and don't let anything that happens  throw you into a state of panic.
